01 — About Dafan

Verifiable. Scalable. Trusted.

Verifiable. Scalable. Trusted.

Dafan Health is built at the intersection of extracellular vesicle biology and stem cell science. We believe that trust in medicine begins with honest data, and that the value of innovation lies in reproducible results. Every decision returns to the scientific fundamentals — quantifiable, verifiable, trusted.

Results Define Value

Results Define Value

Clinical outcomes define the standard for regenerative medicine. We believe the value of regenerative medicine must be built on verifiable clinical results. Every cellular application should have traceable data and long-term observational records.

Science Becomes Capability

Science Becomes Capability

We build standardized cell manufacturing and quality systems, giving cellular applications a measurable and reproducible foundation. Clinical tracking and data monitoring allow medical decisions to be grounded in reliable data.

From Research to Clinical

From Research to Clinical

We connect cell research, bioprocessing, and clinical medicine to build regenerative medicine capabilities that can be applied clinically. Taking regenerative medicine from research to monitorable clinical application.

Autologous Transplantation of Gingival Fibroblast-Like Cells and a Hydroxylapatite Complex Graft in the Treatment of Periodontal Osseous Defects: Cell Cultivation and Long-Term Report of Cases

Autologous gingival fibroblast-like cells were cultured and combined with a hydroxylapatite complex graft for periodontal osseous defect treatment. Cell cultivation protocols are described alongside long-term clinical follow-up, demonstrating the feasibility of autologous cell-based approaches for periodontal bone regeneration.

Utility of PDL Progenitors for In Vivo Tissue Regeneration: A Report of 3 Cases

Three clinical cases examined the therapeutic utility of periodontal ligament (PDL) progenitor cells for in vivo tissue regeneration. Results demonstrated successful engraftment and regenerative outcomes at periodontal defect sites, supporting the clinical potential of autologous PDL-derived progenitor populations.

Enhanced Chondrogenic Differentiation Potential of Human Gingival Fibroblasts by Spheroid Formation on Chitosan Membranes

Human gingival fibroblasts cultured as three-dimensional spheroids on chitosan membranes exhibited significantly enhanced chondrogenic differentiation capacity versus monolayer culture. Upregulation of collagen type II and aggrecan confirmed phenotypic shift toward chondrocytes, establishing a scaffold-based strategy to reprogram gingival cells for cartilage tissue engineering.

Isolation of the Multipotent MSC Subpopulation from Human Gingival Fibroblasts by Culturing on Chitosan Membranes

Chitosan membrane culture selectively expanded a multipotent mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) subpopulation from primary human gingival fibroblasts. The isolated cells expressed canonical MSC surface markers and retained trilineage differentiation capacity (osteogenic, chondrogenic, adipogenic), identifying gingival tissue as an accessible and ethically favorable source for clinical MSC applications.

Exosome Therapy for Livedoid Vasculitis Following COVID-19 Vaccination: A Case Report

This case report describes the use of exosome therapy in a patient with livedoid vasculitis refractory to conventional treatment following COVID-19 vaccination. Significant clinical improvement was observed after exosome administration, with complete lesion resolution at three months, suggesting exosome-based immunomodulation as a novel approach for post-vaccination inflammatory vascular conditions.
